Nusa Dua, September 2025 – Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa – Handwritten Collection proudly presents the annual Nusa Dua in Harmony event. Celebrating its 4th year, this event returns this October on Tuesday 7th in collaboration with Komunitas Cinta Berkain Indonesia (KCBI) Bali Province, and is set to enchant the guests with vibrant cultural performances. Our resort has chosen to collaborate with this community since this organization is dedicated to preserving and promoting Indonesia’s traditional textiles, supporting local artisans and fostering a deeper appreciation of cultural heritage.

This year was themed “Melody and Wastra”. Melody represents music and song that uplifts the soul, while Wastra refers to the beauty of traditional fabrics symbolizing our rich cultural heritage. Marking Batik month, the celebration is not only to honor batik but also to pay tribute to other treasured Indonesian local textures such as songket, tenun and endek.

The evening begins with the graceful Tari Tenun, followed by the lively Lenggang Nusantara Dance. Presented by KCBI under the leadership of Anak Agung Sagung Inten or known as Ibu Byang Mangku Hypno, this dance is devoted to celebrating Indonesia’s diverse culture and heritage. Fashion took a prominent role through the visionary creations of Haluan, Lusi Damai, and Anna Cole, who each presented their collections that reimaged wastra for modern audiences. Adding further brilliance to the program is the stunning collection by Komang Tri Jewelry, where each piece carries the elegance of Balinese skills in accessories making. As guests admired the designers, the live music performance by Beecoustic would fill the night with captivating acoustic melodies adding the charm and vibrancy to the entire performance. Together, music, fashion, and Balinese artistry in perfect harmony.
