Bali, May 2019 – The ITTA Foundation announced the 5th Annual Bali Tourism Awards winning hospitality brands & leaders at this year’s awards ceremony, which took place on Monday, 27 May 2019, at Trans Resort, Bali. The Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa is proud to receive 2 prestigious awards in the categories as the “Bali’s Leading Thematic Resort” and “Bali’s Leading Resort in Nusa Dua” for Bali Tourism Awards 2019/20 competition.
This annual black tie event was attended by approximately 300+ travel and tourism industry leaders, government leaders, diplomatic representatives and community leaders. The event was also presented by local and international media. There were a total of 50 categories of major awards for hotels, resorts, suites, villas, tourism agencies, travel agents, tourist attractions and other tourism stakeholders in Indonesia. Bali Tourism Awards 2019/20 was organized by the ‘Indonesia Travel and Tourism Awards’ Foundation to appreciate the outstanding achievements of the leaders of the hospitality industry.
All nominees had to pass through a three stage selection and judging process to select the winners. The first stage consisted of a screening process, followed by an elections stage, by industry players using online voting. This stage contributed 25% to the total score. For the second stage, a review and selection process was completed, by a panel of experts that added a further 50% to the total score. In the final stage a judging process was carried out by BTA Knowledge and Research partner’s, making up the final 25% of the total score.
