Bali, July 2017 – On Friday, June 28th, Lagoon Beach Garden at Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa was a lively scene with 29 guests from China having a great time with our award-winning culinary team to learn how to cook Balinese food.
Executive Chef Neil Firman and his team prepared a traditional 3-course Balinese menu; “Sate Lilit Ayam” the minced chicken infused by aromatic spices on lemon grass, “Ayam Betutu” the whole chicken marinated in a secret blend of 16 Balinese spices wrapped in plam leaves and slow cooked to a confit and “Dadar Gulung
Pandan” Pandanus leaf pancakes with jackfruit and palm sugar filling, served with honey ginger ice cream. The cooking class covers hands on cooking, certificates and recipes.
“We are very grateful to host this special culinary event. It is a great opportunity to introduce the authentic Balinese cuisine of our Raja’s Balinese Restaurant.” said Jamal Hussain, General Manager of Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa.
